[about_artisan]Frédéric Gooris, an industrial designer of Belgian origin, born in Leuven (Belgium) in 1974, graduated from Hogeschool Antwerpen in 1998. In 1999 he moved to Milan, where he obtained a master's degree in design from Domus Academy. He gains experience working for 5 years for Philippe Starck and Stefano Giovannoni. Later he opens Studio Gooris in Milan, where he develops products and concepts for companies all over the world, including Alessi. In 2009 he was co-founder of Bombol, a design company of children's items. In 2010 he moved to Hong Kong, where he opened his second studio
